My husband bought this car when he was 93 years old and just loved to drive it. As illnesses took their toll, he stopped driving it about a year ago. Various family members have taken the car out for mostly local outings. There was one Cleveland trip from Pittsburgh. Due to miserable pot holes on the road the car had a flat on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of Nowhere, still quite a significant distance from Pittsburgh. My kids were surprised to find that there is no spare in this MINI model. Well, no true MINI tires could be found nearby on the next Monday either, so my kids had to buy a regular tire to finally get home. Once back in Pgh, we refurbished this fun car with it's original flat run tire which can run up to 60 miles on a flat tire. The new tire that was bought to get home is now inside the car and is part of the deal.…
